Data Deletion Policy

You have the right to delete your data. This page explains exactly how to remove your account and all associated data from PDF Invoice Pro.

Overview

At PDF Invoice Pro, we respect your right to control your personal data. Under GDPR and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains the two methods available to delete your account and all associated data.

Method 1: Delete In-App

Fastest option — takes effect immediately

Sign in to your account
Go to pdfinvoicepro.com and sign in with your email, Google, or Facebook account.

Navigate to your Dashboard
Click on the Dashboard link in the top navigation menu.

Open Account Settings
In the Dashboard, click on the "Company" tab, then scroll to the bottom to find "Account Settings".

Request Account Deletion
Click the "Delete My Account" button. You will be prompted to confirm your decision.

Confirm deletion
Type "DELETE" in the confirmation dialog and click "Permanently Delete Account" to proceed.

Receive confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation at your registered address within 24 hours confirming your account has been deleted.

Method 2: Delete via Email

For Facebook-connected accounts or if you cannot access your account

Compose an email
Open your email client and create a new email to support@pdfinvoicepro.com.

Use subject line
Set the subject to: "Data Deletion Request — [your registered email address]"

Provide your details
Include in the email: your registered email address, the OAuth provider you used to sign up (Google, Facebook, or Email), and the reason for deletion (optional).

Send the email
Send the email from the address associated with your PDF Invoice Pro account.

Receive acknowledgement
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and begin processing your deletion.

Deletion complete
Your data will be fully removed within 7 business days. You will receive a final confirmation email.

Facebook users:If you signed in with Facebook and want to request data deletion directly through Facebook's platform, you can manage this through Facebook's Settings → Apps and Websites → PDF Invoice Pro → Remove and Delete. This will trigger an automatic deletion request to us.

What Gets Deleted

✕ Permanently Deleted

  • ✕Your user account and authentication data
  • ✕All invoices you have created
  • ✕All client CRM records
  • ✕Company profile (name, logo, tax ID, etc.)
  • ✕Automation settings and reminder logs
  • ✕Email preferences and notification settings
  • ✕Profile picture and display name
  • ✕Saved templates and customizations

! May Be Retained

  • !Transaction records required by law (up to 7 years)
  • !Anonymized usage analytics (no personal identifiers)
  • !Backups (purged within 30 days)
  • !Fraud prevention records (if applicable)

Deletion Timeline

Immediate
Your account is deactivated. You lose access to the Service immediately after confirming deletion.
Within 24 hours
Your active session is invalidated. Confirmation email is sent to your registered address.
Within 7 days
All personal data, invoices, clients, and company settings are permanently removed from our active database.
Within 30 days
Data is purged from all database backups. After this point, recovery is not possible.

Export Your Data First

Before deleting your account, we recommend exporting your data. From the Dashboard, you can:

  • →Export all invoices as a CSV file from the Invoices tab
  • →Export your client CRM data as CSV from the Clients tab
  • →Download individual invoices as PDF files before deletion

GDPR Compliance Notice

This Data Deletion Policy is designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable data protection laws. You have the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) under Article 17 of the GDPR. We will process all deletion requests within the legally required timeframes.
