1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PDF Invoice Pro at https://pdfinvoicepro.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service, whether or not they create an account.

2. Description of Service

PDF Invoice Pro provides a free, browser-based invoice generator that allows individuals and businesses to create, customize, and download professional PDF invoices. Key features include:

  • A client-side invoice editor with 160+ templates, multi-currency support, and tax label customization
  • Browser-local storage of invoice drafts, client records, and business settings
  • Optional cloud sync via account registration (Google Sign-In)
  • An optional CRM dashboard to track invoice statuses, payment history, and overdue alerts
  • Industry-specific invoice templates for freelancers, businesses, and service professionals
  • Educational blog content on invoicing, freelancing, and small business finance

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any features at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract.

4. Optional Accounts

Creating an account is not required to use the core invoice generator. If you choose to create an optional account to access cloud sync and dashboard features:

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@pdfinvoicepro.com.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create fraudulent, false, or misleading invoices intended to deceive clients or authorities
  • Impersonate any person or business entity
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction, including tax laws and consumer protection laws
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying source code, algorithms, or templates
  • Use automated tools to mass-generate invoices for spam or fraudulent billing purposes
  • Transmit malicious code, viruses, or any harmful data
  • Interfere with the proper working of the Service or its servers

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these acceptable use rules.

6. Your Invoice Content & Data

You retain full ownership of all invoice content, client data, and business information you enter into PDF Invoice Pro. We do not claim any rights to your invoice data.

Data storage: By default, all invoice data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). If you use the optional cloud sync feature, your data is stored in encrypted form on our Supabase database. In either case, you are responsible for backing up your own data.

Accuracy: You are solely responsible for ensuring that the information you include in your invoices — including tax rates, amounts, business registration numbers, VAT/GST IDs, and legal descriptions — is accurate and complies with the laws of your jurisdiction. PDF Invoice Pro does not verify the legal validity of invoices you create.

Data loss: We are not liable for any loss of invoice data caused by browser cache clearing, device failure, or discontinuation of the Service. We strongly recommend downloading your invoices as PDFs immediately after creation.

7. Advertising

Advertising Disclosure: PDF Invoice Pro displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. These ads support the free service.

You understand and agree that:

  • Third-party advertisements may appear on the website and are served by Google AdSense.

The Service, including all website content, invoice templates, design elements, code, software, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by PDF Invoice Pro and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or business invoicing purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the website's source code, templates, or design assets
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialize the Service itself

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the Service.

Upon termination of an optional account, your cloud-synced data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days. Locally stored data in your browser remains in your browser until you clear it.
